“Pray, and let God worry.”
Martin Luther
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
I've been thinking about this song - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and pondering it's message. "Let nothing you dismay." Let nothing cause you fear. Let nothing cause you to worry. Let nothing cause you to lose faith in God. Why? Remember ... a savior was born. For you. This is the good news of comfort and joy. Comfort - because we live in this broken, messed up world and we need His comfort. Joy - because He loved us enough to come for us.
Praise God that He is the God of all comfort. He is all we need.
Pray that Let's Eat on Christmas Day would be a time of joy and blessing for all those who volunteer and all those who come to eat.
Pray that broken relationships would be restored through the love and joy of Jesus.
Pray that God would give us a passion for reaching our neighborhood with the good news of comfort and joy.
Pray that God would bring rest and restoration to those who have been serving in many ways through this past year. Pray that God would bring you rest as you have served Him.
Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
